MetWallet verification (KYC) for Chamet payouts
Updated
MetWallet verification (KYC) confirms that the wallet belongs to you before money can be withdrawn. Complete the verification steps in MetWallet with your real details, make sure the name matches your ID and payout account, and finish before your first US$10 payout.
Before you start
- Have a valid identity document ready. Which documents are accepted depends on your country and MetWallet's current rules.
- Use your legal name exactly as it appears on the document.
- If the app asks for a photo or selfie, use good light and a plain background.
Steps
- Install MetWallet from the official app store and create your account.
- Open the verification section and follow the on-screen steps.
- Check every detail before you submit; corrections can take time.
- Once verified, bind MetWallet in Chamet (hosts) or in the agency dashboard (agents).
Why verification fails
- The name differs from your ID: nicknames, a missing middle name or a different spelling.
- Blurry, cropped or glare-covered document photos.
- An expired document.
- A bank or wallet account in someone else's name.
Protect your wallet
Never give anyone your MetWallet login or verification codes. An agency can explain the steps, but it never needs access to your wallet.
Checked on 2 October 2026. Chamet and MetWallet can change app menus, rates and rules at any time — always check the current version in the app or your agency dashboard.
